Responsibilities
- Work with Solution Architect and Project Lead to review technical requirements and architecture Solution for implementation
- Work with SRE Support Team to provide Level 2/3 support and provide ongoing mentorship to fellow DevOps Engineers and SRE team
- Work with product development team to provide technical expertise and help with testing, evaluation and automation of the application stack including infrastructure automation requirements utilizing GitOps and infrastructure-as-a-code
- Maintain GitOps and Infra Code Repository for code quality and code reviews
- Lead automation requirements and provide assistance on customer engagements
- Participate in solutions discussions with the Solution Architect
- Participate in R&D Research and evaluation projects
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge and experience with different Cloud Infrastructure Technology (AWS, AZURE,GCP, CloudStack, OpenStack)
- Strong knowledge and experience DevOps tools and platforms
- Strong evaluation and fine-tuning skills of various cloud-based technologies and toolsets
- Extensive experience in Infrastructure-as-a-code utilizing config management, orchestration tools, packaging tools, code repositories and DevOps collaboration tools
- Strong understanding of YAML-based file format, REST API, Command-line usage
- Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-a-code, microservice framework & architecture and CI/CD methodology
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and CI/CD design principles and deployments
- Strong experience in scripting in Linux or Windows
- Strong experience with different linux distribution and windows server technology (WindowsServer 2016 R2, CentOS/Ubuntu)
- Experience building and designing application platforms to work in a Multi-Cloud environment
- Experience with Kubernetes, Containers and OpenSource technologies
- Experience working with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS Good understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical design stages
- 2+ years experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling (eg Terraform, CloudFormation), Containerization / Cloud Native (OpenShift, Kubernetes, EKS/GKE, ECS) and automation tools like Ansible
- 2 years experience in Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Git, shell scripting
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and willing to take initiatives
- Experience with Application Monitoring Tools such as Azure DevOps, Prometheus, Application Insights or other suitable tools
- Experience with SCM (Git, SVN), Jenkins, JIRA and Bitbucket
- Some coding and/or scripting experience in Linux environments with languages like Python, Bash
