The IT Support Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for supporting Information Technology
systems for our Managed Services clients. Under the supervision of the IT Manager, supports and assists
the daily operations of information technology operations to maximize asset utilization, provide timely
support to clients and act as first point of contact for our clients. Ability to interact with multiple
customers and tickets simultaneously. This is an external-facing role and exceptional customer service
and communication skills are required.
Have an “I don’t know everything, but I can learn anything” attitude.
Ability to find solutions on your own (major Googling mojo required).
Day to day responsibilities include corresponding with external clients via telephone, email and
chat, resolving technical issues relating to Microsoft infrastructure, creating and closing trouble
Work individually or with DevOps team
Maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures (Veeam)
Apply patches and keep the software and firmware up to date.
Maintaining, monitoring, and improving endpoint protection (Symantec)
Regularly leads in the technical assessment and delivery of specific technical solutions and
implementation projects to our clients.
Coordinates implementation of new installations, designs, and migrations for technology
solutions to our private cloud
Provides technical consulting and advice to clients on proposal efforts, solution design, system
management, tuning and modification of solutions.
Community College/ Undergraduate degree in Computer Science/ Programming
Must be certified MCSA or MCSE
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
1-4 years related work experience
Fluent in all versions of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows 7, 8.1 and 10
Windows 2008/2012 and 2016 experience
Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
AD, ADFS, GPO, PowerShell or related scripting experience
Some exposure to Office 365, Azure and/or AWS
Nice to have: VMWare, HyperV or KVM
Nice to have: Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler
Nice to have: Linux (Ubuntu)
